Book To Get

Welcome, Precious by Nikki Grimes, illustrations by Bryan Collier is very fitting for your child's library. Grimes was able to poetically express all the wonders and possibilities the baby will experience once they are born. I love the line that says, "Welcome to the silk of grass, the satin of rose petals, and the squish of sand between your toes." I just got mine in the mail last night and read it to my bella right away; although, she was a bit distracted...I enjoyed it thoroughly.
